This is the second time that the CATIE Center has sponsored a workshop in this format. What is printed here is our planned schedule, but we will adapt as need be if we determine changes are necessary for enhanced learning. The bulletin board will be set-up and available for viewing by June 12.

June 15 - 17 : Orientation

  • Learning about the logistics of the bulletin board including earning CEUs
  • Introduction to and discussion of the frameworks for ethical decision-making

Tuesday - June 17: Real-Time Discussion of Case Study

  • Two hour discussion about a case study facilitated by Doug Bowen-Bailey
  • Begins at: 8 PM EST, 7 PM CST; 6 PM MST; 5 PM PST
  • This discussion is not mandatory, but will be an opportunity to have a chance to interact with participants in a more immediate way than in subsequent bulletin board discussion.

June 18 - June 27: Bulletin Board Discussion of Case Studies/Ethical Dilemmas and Synthesis of Learning

  • This will happen in more traditional bulletin board format.
  • Case studies will be discussed using specific ethical frameworks.
  • Participants can choose if they want to be involved in any or all of these discussions.
  • Participants receiving CEUs also need to write an overall reflection synthesizing their learning from the workshop.
