An English Translation of Perspectives on Introductions

When I go to an appointment, I want to know if the patient has arrived. So, I inform the registration person that I a sign language interpreter there for an appointment with the specific doctor, tell the time of the appointment, and then the patient's name. I say the patient's name last because I don't want anyone to confuse me with the patient. I also know that the doctor's name comes up right away in the computer system. So, that allows me to find out if the patient has arrived or if I need to wait.
